A5. Education License (Education / Training Use)

Availability: Provided to users with an active EDU.

1. Purpose and Applicability

This Appendix applies to the use of Assets exclusively for educational, academic and research purposes. Tuition fees, grants and budget funding shall not in themselves be considered commercial use if the Assets are not used in advertising, sale of courses or commercial promotion.

2. Scope of Rights

The User is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide right to use lawfully downloaded Assets exclusively for educational and research purposes. The license is non-transferable and not subject to sublicensing.

3. Permitted Use

The following are permitted:

— textbooks and teaching materials, lectures, presentations, course papers and graduation works;

— research projects and scientific publications;

— virtual laboratories, simulators and training tools for educational purposes;

— demonstrations in classes, seminars, workshops and project defenses;

— upload to closed educational environments (LMS, university intranet portals) with access limited to participants of the course, program or study group.

4. Special Restrictions

The following are prohibited:

— advertising, promotion and sale of courses, programs and materials using Assets without transition to the corresponding commercial license;

— inclusion of Assets in public commercial products, games, applications and interactive services outside the educational environment;

— public publication of source files of Assets and their transfer beyond the study group;

— providing trainees and students with source-file export functions from educational applications and scenes.

5. Special Rules

Within one educational organization, access to Assets is permitted only to instructors, students and invited specialists of the relevant course or program, subject to technical and organizational protection measures.

If an educational or research project is planned for commercialization, the appropriate commercial license under the License Terms and Conditions must be obtained before release.

When educational and research materials are publicly published, attribution shall be indicated in a reasonable form, where technically feasible: “Asset source: ScanWOW (scanwow.com)”.

6. General Reference

In all other respects not regulated by this Appendix, the License Terms and Conditions shall apply, including, among other things, the provisions on prohibitions and restrictions of use, anti-extraction, baked-in integration, re-download, Title ID, License Uplift, liability, interpretation and priority of documents.
